As the Maddock Center's Chief Physicist, Dr. Vadash is responsible for developing and directing quality control programs for radiation equipment, procedures and machine calibrations at the Maddock Center. He also oversees the Radiation Safety Program and is head of the Radiation Safety Committee. Dr. Vadash works closely with the doctors in planning each patient's treatment and oversees conformal and IMRT treatment planning.

Dr. Vadash has ABMP Certification in Medical Physics with specialization in Radiation Oncology. Prior to joining the Maddock Center, Dr. Vadash was a Clinical Physicist for eleven years at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Vadash brings a wealth of research experience to the Maddock Center. At the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry in Novosibirsk, USSR, Dr. Vadash oversaw a group of researchers who developed models to simulate X-ray and electron spectra for large inorganic molecules.

Dr. Vadash has eleven published papers and abstracts in medical physics and fourteen printed papers and abstracts in the field of molecular physics. He is an active member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine.
